With baby number 6 arriving any day, my girlfriends wanted to bless me with a celebration for my little one on the way. I love celebrations however, I do not like planning them. Therefore, I was super excited that they were going to take the stress off of my hands by planning this out.

Baby Shower Decorations

Being that my girlfriends were going to gift me this celebration, I didn’t want to be too picky. However, I did request a certain color scheme which was green, white, and gold. Let me just say, they did so amazing with the decorations. A lot of the decorations were diyed. I really loved how creative they were.

Baby Shower Location

I honestly believe that the most difficult part of the planning process was securing the location. Without breaking the bank we wanted to secure a nice location to have the celebration festivities. Somewhere that was bright and inviting. We chose to have it in downtown Riverside in Jacksonville. It was a perfect location and it only cost us $250.

Hiring a Photographer

For the first time ever we hired a photographer for our baby shower. We have never had a photographer take our photos for us. Typically, we take all of our own photos. However, this time hubby wanted to make sure that we truly enjoyed ourselves without having to do any work. I’m so glad that he did that because it definitely took a lot of stress off of our shoulders. This cost us $250 as well for 2-3 hours of service.

Publix Catered Food

My girlfriends were definitely resourceful when it came to catering our baby shower. They went to Publix. I thought it was such a fascinating idea. It’s definitely the most cost-effective way to save on catering your baby shower. They ordered a salad, sandwiches, and our amazing cake from Publix. let me just say, everything taste delicious.

Entertaining With Family Friendly Games

Where’s the baby shower without games? We played some amazing family-friendly games during our baby shower. It was a great way to keep all of the guests entertain especially our children. We had such a great time connecting with one another. My hosts were absolutely amazing.
