Here’s 4 day postpartum me in all my glory.
Raw and transparent! Though I am sore, exhausted, fatigued, and easily emotional, I am so overwhelmed with joy.
My body has done it AGAIN!
I have birthed 6 children full-term, and vaginally. 5 of those children were delivered naturally, and unmedicated. My delivery with my oldest child, I had an epidural 15 minutes before giving birth🙄 Yes, it was a complete waste of time.
That’s why I believe it’s imperative for us to educate ourselves on what we want and deserve when it comes to our healthcare.
So I vowed from that moment forward to educate myself on giving birth unmedicated.
Baby no. 6 was my 1st home birth and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My Postpartum Body
I am so grateful for this body of mine. As I embrace this 4th trimester, I realize how powerful I am. Though it’s hard work, I am reminded that I was created for this life.
Postpartum Journey & Healing
It’s funny how time not only heals things but also people. There was a point in my life when I would criticize and practically tear down all of my features. Almost as if I was dissecting a darn biology assignment of some sort.
But here I am, older and wiser but most of all, loving me more each day. Self-love is on high these days as I embrace all of this postpartum body and galore. Things I’ve been heavy on lately is giving myself Grace.
So as I continue to encourage myself, here’s my reminder to you mamas out there, give yourself grace love because you’re more than a conquerorÂ
