This was our third trip to Daytona Beach but our first time staying at the Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort! The newly renovated resort close to Daytona Beach’s main attractions made this deal an ultimate steal. With the option of oceanfront condos with free onsite parking are all the things that were appealing to us when making these reservations.

Here’s a look into our Christmas family vacation at the popular Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort.

Wyndham is known for being the largest timeshare company member owned, and now I can see why.

The first thing we noticed when checking in, is that the resort is broken down into two different buildings (towers) south and north. Our reservation booked us into a 2 bath, 2 bedroom, full kitchen, living room, and balcony facing the ocean in the south tower.

Before heading up to our room, we took a tour around the lobby. The lobby was beautifully decked out with Christmas Decor.

After, checking out some of the lobby decorations, we headed upstairs to our room.

Speaking of rooms, we were excited to see ours. When traveling we typically get a two to three bedroom condo depending if we have our parents are traveling with us. However, for this reservation 2 bedroom was going to be enough room for us. The resort’s 2 bedroom is able to accommodate up to 8 people comfortably.

On to the rooms!

The shiny and freshly painted rooms definitely stood out to us the most. The rooms were approximately 1200sq ft. There was one master bedroom with a king size bed and master bath. The master bath had a jetted tub, separate shower and toilet. There also was a double sink vanity, which was accommodating for me during my makeup sessions! Lol!

Our second bedroom came with two double beds. It also came with a full-size closet with a 32 inch TV and a full-size dresser.

The second bath was right across from the second bedroom which was very convenient for our children.

The room came with a full kitchen, that included a full size stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, over range microwave and toaster oven. The kitchen also was full stocked with dish ware and silverware. This made it very convenient for cooking meals for our family.

People think we’re crazy for cooking on vacation! We literally save hundreds of dollars by simply cooking breakfast alone rather that dining out.

Inside our room, we also had a washer and dryer combo set. This made it extremely convenient for our family to wash our clothes. Being that we booked a 7 day stay, we were able to wash our clothes every night. It definitely allowed us the convenient of not having to pack so many clothes. With a family of 7, we already have quite a few suitcases. Therefore, we were able to travel back home with clean clothes. I don’t know about you, but I definitely don’t like having to travel with both clean and dirty clothes. Therefore, having the convenience of a washer and dryer in room is definitely a necessity for me.

Fun fact: my husband is the person who irons in our family! I do not iron anything.

It’s true, I don’t like ironing. I think it’s tedious. My husband actually enjoys ironing! I know, how awesomely cool is that? I guess that’s what they mean when they say opposites attract. Lol

We also had a full size living room in our room. This was great for family time. We were able to play board games and enjoy a movie together. I also enjoyed the full size table in the dining room. It was great when sitting down with family to enjoy a meal together.

Pool time! Wyndham ocean walk resort has 4 pools, a lazy river and 3 hot tubs.

The resort has two outdoor pools, one lazy river and three outdoor hot tubs. There are also two indoor pools. There is one pool in each tower (North and South).

Wyndham oceanfront resort also has an amazing activity center.

The activity center was absolutely amazing and providing fun and engaging activities for children of all ages. The activity center definitely bought out the Christmas theme with their fun and festive activities. They had cookie decorating, gingerbread house building and so much more.

They also had a winter wonderland theme where they changed the entire kids center into the frozen theme. My children definitely loved the winter wonderland theme. They also served hot chocolate and cookies while watching nonstop Christmas movies. It was definitely the way to spend our Christmas break.

Our children enjoyed seeing all of the Christmas decorations all around the resort. The resort was definitely decked out and ready the Christmas holiday.

We had a fabulous Christmas family vacation. We truly enjoy the resort in all the amenities. I will definitely be returning to this resort. The management and staff was absolutely amazing.
