Spread the love

This post is sponsored by Gaylord Palms however, all magical holiday opinions are my own.

We were invited to experience Christmas at Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center for their opening night of the Christmas season. This year they had an all-new Gaylord Hotel Experience which is Mission: Save Christmas featuring  Elf™.

Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center

In my opinion, there’s no better way to celebrate this holiday season than at Gaylord Palms. For starters, their atrium was filled and decked out with Christmas decor throughout.

There are over a couple of dozen Christmas trees everywhere.

Opening Night At Gaylord Palms

We started the evening reception in the Alpine Village. From there, we were able to experience “A Taste of Gaylord Palms. There were many chefs from across the property who prepared some tasty dishes from their menus. They paired their dishes with specialty beverages from their restaurants. The reception also included their Snow Bar featuring their brand new holiday menu of crafted cocktails and mocktails.

My family and I were able to enjoy the cuisine right before exploring the activities. Some of the activities included the Snow Flow Mountain, and Snowball Build and Blast.

At the conclusion of the reception, we were invited to the premiere of the Spirit of Christmas Cirque as well as the new show, “Shine.” This was a musical light show that was added this year.

Staying Overnight at Gaylord Palms

We ended the evening in our double bed-connected guest rooms in the atrium where we stay for two nights.

From our balcony, we were able to enjoy the view of the shows which was a pretty cool bonus.

Dining At Gaylord Palms

The next morning we enjoyed a breakfast buffet at Villa De Flora restaurant. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Listen, come hungry because there’s so much food. My favorite was the omelet station. This is where they prepared your omelet made to order.

There were a host of breakfast items as well as bread and pastries. We also enjoyed dinner at Moor Seafood. This was a beautiful elegant restaurant that my family and I enjoyed. Here are some of the entrees that were ordered.

Mission: Save Christmas featuring  Elf™

After breakfast, we then went on the adventure to experience Mission: Save Christmas featuring  Elf™.   Some of the amazing activities include the Secret Santa Scavenger Hunt, Gingerbread Decorating, and Snowball Build and Blast.

Our children truly enjoyed the Mission: Save Christmas Featuring  Elf™.

It consisted of a dozen interactive activities inspired by the movie Elf™.

It was quite an experience. There was something to do for each of my children, even my husband found pleasure in the snowball fight assimilation.

Overall Multisensory Experience

This multisensory experience was truly awesome as it engaged all of my children’s senses. There were tons of interactive movements that were all family-friendly.

I really enjoyed the decor throughout. It felt like a winter wonderland. Therefore, I think that this is really a great experience for families, especially during the holiday season. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Although the experience is different from the previous year’s ICE theme, it was still as enjoyable.

It was truly magical and such an incredible experience to remember.

Be sure to check out in Gaylord Palms Resort in Convention Center this year and enjoy Mission: Save Christmas Featuring  Elf™.
